Mikkelsen's background includes 16 years of Architectural practice plus 14 years of elevator consulting in the Seattle market.  Mikkelsen is a registered architect, prior to entering the elevator industry he was a Project Manager for Callison in Seattle. 

 

Mikkelsen's vertical transportation experience was gained as the Regional Manager for an international consulting firm.  He brought to the firm extensive experience in design analysis, simulation, and architectural coordination. Architects and Developers in the Northwest have utilized Steve’s expertise throughout the region, across the U.S., and around the world for projects located in the Nortwest and Internationally.   

 

Steve and his wife Paula enjoy hiking, skiing, and being involved in their son's Boy Scout Troop leadership.
